Can anyone make heads or tails of the elaborate but very poorly organized Montana Game and Fish website? I believe the draw is today. Anyone know where to find the results on the website and when theyll be posted? Can you tell Im anxious?

That date is not set in stone. It's more of a "on or about" the 15th kind of thing.

if you know your ALS number you can check the status online
that won't help you if you don't have an ALS number yet.

Call them up and give them what for. I talked with them at RMEF, and things got a little better -- but you still have a nearly impossible time finding out how to check your status.
Is it too much to ask for a simple "Drawing Results" button to click on?
"The more you run over a dead cat, the flatter it gets."
"If you're asking me something technical, you may be looking for My Other Brother Darrell."
"It ain't foot-pounds that kills stuff -- it's broken body parts."

Have you tried clicking on "Hunting App Status" on the right side of the home page? It's under the heading "Hot Topics." If you don't know your ALS number just enter your date of birth and change the end number until you find your's.

Like I told Big Sky...I swear to God...that button wasn't on my screen yesterday...Honest... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />...
It's entirely possible that I'm just addled enough to have missed it yesterday <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />...
So...yes I clicked on it...and...
YES...we drew tags! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
I haven't been elk hunting since 1999, so I'm pretty jacked up about it... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />.

Woo-Hoo! I'll be hunting mulies near Broadus, and if I'm lucky, elk near Winnet (that is if I can beat the 1 in 35 odds of drawing that tag). I can't wait for October! It feels good after getting shut out last year.

Hey, me & my bud got ours too! Let's hope we learned something after our week of learning what not to do two years ago. We'll be down near Wisdom. Wayne
