There's a much more succinct way to say this, but among those who're customarily assembled here, that shorter, handier way is sure to stir disagreement, debate, and offense. So
With neither prejudice nor coercion intended, the party of the first part, hereinafter (and in The Hereafter, in whatsoever nature or form it may be understood or conjectured) to be known as the wisher, does desire to communicate to all parties of the second part, hereinafter to be known as the wishees, and to all other interested, uninterested, disinterested, and antagonistic parties with or without standing, hereinafter to be known as the unwished, the following declaration
Please accept with no obligation, express or implied, the wisher's fervent wishes for an environmentally responsible, socially responsible, low-stress, nonaddictive, gender-neutral, celebration of the winter-solstice holiday normally practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of your particular religious persuasion, or in due regard of and respect for the secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious and/or secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2011, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make the United States of America great (not to claim or to imply that the United States of America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the sole and only "America" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, sex, physical ability, religious faith, or choice of computer platform, rifle cartridge, method of hunting, or any other personal predilection, whether normal or aberrant. By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms This declaration is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration of its originally intended meaning. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for himself or others, is void where prohibited by law, custom, or personal bias, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This declaration is warranted to be valid as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new declaration at the sole discretion of the aforedefined wisher.

Walmart has that exact statement on their marquee, right above the Salvation Army guy holding a sign that says 'ding ding'.

So it's written, and so I'm aligned, but alas, that prophecy obviously hasn't been fulfilled yet.

In the words of Yul Bryner in The 10 Commandments: "Let it be written, let it be done." Those words include a translation of the ancient Hebrew word that's transliterated "Amen." Alternative translations are "so be it" and "so let it be." Sorta like a devout "Aye, aye, Sir!"

Some will be offended, that is a given. "So be it." Merry Christmas regardless. Nevermind if you mind.
