Tom, this tragedy has seldom left my thoughts since I learned of it yesterday and I'm sure you and your family will continue to be in my thoughts today.

My deepest condolences and best wishes for the survivors. I have a lot of family in Grand Forks and the surrounding area, so this hits home a bit.

I have been asked about donations to help the family that has suffered these losses.

Yes of course I would be more than happy to handle this for any that wish to do so.

I've thought about it and my first thoughts were "why not just send donations to Tom". Well, Pam and I know from the chickenbuck shirt order we did recently that it can be busy and tedeus work handling these letters & checks etc.

Team Chickenbuck would be more than happy to handle a collection & consolidation of donations. Pam and I can do all the sorting, cashing etc converting funds probably to a simple lump of old fashioned cash money which we would hand over to Tom.

Tom and Betsy can use it to help the family in which ever way is best.

Here's the other reason I'd like to offer to do this collection task for Tom. So he doesn't have to post his name and mailing address on the internet.

Click and view my profile. I will temporarily have my name and home mailing address posted in my "hobbies".

Put a note along "for tzone" if you like, but I'll know what it's for even without a note.

This of course is not a request for donations, it is simply a means I am offering for those that are interested.

Pam and I will post a total here if something comes of this.

Thank you all again for your support, prayers etc for Tom & his family.

This means so much to me that you Campfire members will never know. I catch flack for being on here once in a while from the Mrs, but now that I showed her this, I believe that will come to a screeching halt.

A heartfelt thanks from mrsTzone and I. This is truly a wonderful place filled with wonderful people.

The donations will be immediately sent to my brother and his family.

Thank you all very, very, much.

Tom

Donations help more than can be imagined, no one plans for the expense of funerals with small children. Mainly the stress of those that have taken the responsibility of such matters and shield this stress from the grieving.
