I had a great deer hunt with my cousin Todd, his brother in law and Dave, and Daves father Dallas. We saw quite a few deer, but there was little to no snow on the ground. On the second day we saw a few bucks, none that were that big. The third day my cousin took a nice five by five with his sako finnbear in 7mm mag at about 50 yards. The buck was chasing a big doe when he shot it. The next day I took a very wide 4x4 with my 25-06,110 grain accubond, at about a hundred yards. Called him in. Dave took a 5x5 on the second day of the hunt,I cannot find the pictures, but we did find a nice dead one on the last day. I got him to pose with it. He has come up for a couple of years and has yet to get his real big buck. Next year. It was a good hunt

For years people bug me that I do not smile in my pics with my deer, this year I did and my wife gives me flack for my toque. Sje says I look like an old russian czar. The hunt was alot of fun, a little chilly, but good fun. Nice fire every evening to cook on. My cousin even made apple and blueberry pies with this neat cast iron pie press, worked great. That area that I was in has always been good to me for bucks, this year was good too.
Thanks for the comments, glad to share the pics.

That was a great trip and a lot of fun memories, hopefully this fall brings more adventures, more stories, and more big bucks.
