I know about the .223 Rem, 5.56 NATO and the Wylde chambers but have never heard of the 5.56 NATO Match (USMC SAM-R) chamber until recently.
Anyone have any experience with it? Are there any reasons I should stay away from it or want one? Will it shoot both .223 and 5.56 ammo reliably?
I'm about to have another upper put together and I'm looking at and weighing all my options here. The purpose of this rifle will mainly be for casual paper punching off a bench, the occasional coyote hunt and light plinking. The worst enviroments this rifle will ever be subjected to is maybe the occasional rain shower and that's only if I happen to get caught in one. It'll never see a firefight or rapid shooting.
I'm looking for accuracy but not at the sacrafice of reliability in the above mentioned situations I'll be using the rifle in.
Thanks, Terry

I don't know what that chamber is... maybe google chamber specs?
For your uses, I just don't see any better choice than a Wylde....
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
