Dues anyone know of a site or group that specializes in early Stevens shotguns and rifles?
I have recently acquired some rare and unusual SxSs and am thinking of looking for more of them.
Any help appreciated.
Best,

John, try gunshop.com, it is a site for sxs enthusiast. Also, let me know what information you are looking for on the sxs's. PM me if you want.

Sir: To expand a bit on the previous responder's suggestion that you post this question on Gunshop, might I suggest you address it to a gentleman named John Mann. He's a Yankee gun nut with a taste for the esoteric and an understanding of the plebeian. Good man for all that. I consider him a friend.

Thanks Alonzo
I am in constant contact with John and thank you for being his friend.
Those were very nice words about him, but, one correction. He is NOT a Yankee but a troubled Georgia boy that is being held captive in the Mountains of New Hampshire.
Best,
John

Should friend John escape the bonds of the New Hampshire Mt.'s and sojourn to his beautiful boyhood home of Abbeyville, I'd consider it an honor to drive from Norcross and meet him for coffee and conversation- unless Shep follows him. I find him a bit false.

I really have to come here more often.
I would love to visit home turf again and may just do that this winter. Recently was sent the contract for my fuel bill for heat for the coming winter. After the semi-stroke passed, I realized that I could close up my house and spend the winter there and save a grand, at least.
It would be delightful to meet many friends and perhaps shoot a bit as well.
I will keep you posted.
Best,
