A friend has one that belonged to her father. 30" barrel w/ polychoke and Cutts compensator and a spare 21" barrel, maybe for slugs? Red bead on the end of the short barrel. Very good condition. I may need to buy it, but I don't want to give her an unfair price. Any help will be appreciated.

Price will vary with condition, date of mfr, gauge, your region and rib or no rib. Cutts compensators were popular up to the 1950's, though could have been added later.
You might look at the gun auction sites to see where recent deals closed. I don't have a Blue Book handy, sorry.

The cutts compensator and poly-choke kill the value.
Depending on condition, 12 guage 37's are going for a couple hundred on the auction sites, obviously more if they're unaltered.
