My morning routine for decades included a few cups of wake-up, followed shortly thereafter by a trip to the bathroom -- newspaper in-tow -- where I'd catch-up on events, while "startin' the day off right".
'Bout the only change to the morning ritual is supplanting the paper with a laptop - because I can choose from several information sources. This morning the outgoing Speaker of The House dominates the news cycle.
I can think of nothing more apropo than >flush<.
ahhhhhhh.

This may be more information than any of us need.
Fall seven times, stand up eight.

Uh, wash prior to plunkin' keys.
I worry far more 'bout the drinks, and groceries at other times of the day.
Sure do hope the gist of the post isn't lost, but stranger things have happened.

I've high hopes for the new congress (especially the Tea Partiers). Spending reductions, and operating under their actual authority seem to be the first items of business - and there is no denying that is Tea Party-driven.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the lesson has been learned. If not, there's plenty more opportunity to teach it!

It's never about the will of the people..they operate their agenda out of total disregard and think folks will just fall in line...as a line from the old sixties song says,"times they are a changing"...
