Thanks,

Vortex has always listed the Vipers (and Razors) as having "XD" objective lenses, so curious as to what differences there would be?

I called Vortex a while ago and they didn't have (or wouldn't give any release date info). They did say that there was a glass and coating upgrade (that could mean a lot or not much)and they said the fov would improve. That indicates there is an eye piece change of some nature included and fov is an eye piece function.

I called about whether or not the Viper 6x30 would be in the new Viper series. They said it would be.

I'm anxious to see what changes are made and what price point they come in at, as the Vipers were already fantastic binos (much better, IMO, than the Razors).

Thanks for the information.
Vortex lists an MSRP on the Viper HD 10 x 42 of $699.00.
I just wish I could see one soon!
Oh well, February or so isn't bad.

I thought the Razor was the top of the line? I checked out the Razors and they were a darn nice set of optics...
