There prices are fantastic. I've heard them mentioned a few times here, everyone happy with the work? Thinking about having them rebarrel one after the first of the year.

Like 90% of gunsmiths. 90% everybody is happy. He rebarreled three for me over the years. 7-08 was a drill  25-06 looked good and shot "ok"  270WBY was a boon doogle. First time it arrived with a spot of rust in bore. He told me he had to take the barrel to Douglas for warranty. Hmmm, ok. Got Douglas to warranty it. Barreled action arrives and I chamber a factory round and it feels tight. Bullet is touching the lands, NO FREEBORE.... He tells me to just take it somewhere local to have it fixed, no big deal he says.  True but if I wanted the local-yocal to work on my rifle I wouldn't have sent it to him. I got it fixed myself....

I've had three rebarrels done by IT&D. No complaints. All good shooters.

Have had a 243 barreled three times and will go back for a fourth when dead. Each job/barrel has shot well below MOA.

I had a 358 built by them. Was suppose to have a #3 taper Douglas...came back as about a 4 and one half. Chamber was too tight so I sent it back. His answer was to turn the barrel out 1/2 turn so now my barrel stamp is located under my scope bell. Never again, not as long as Ray Montgomery is living. powdr

I have bought a few barrels from Dave, spoken with him many times, and had at least two guns rebarreled by him. Put me in the satisfied/highly recommend him column.
