Just Listed A Classic Woolrich "Pennsylvania Tuxedo" 40s/50s Vintage Hunting Coat & Jodphurs on the classified page. This is a great suit in 99% condition, just to damn small for me.

Yeah, two more, one from the 60s and one from the 80s both to small. I inherited the one I listed and it's the largest of the 3. Wifes a good cook.

I had my Pop's too-small-for-me Woolrich outfit from the early 50's altered to fit me by a local tailor. Took the jodphurs from a 34 to 38, and the coat from 42 to 44. He told me that evidently Woolrich designed a lot of extra material into the strategic seams to allow for expansion, or else we just got lucky. The funny thing is, since two heart attacks will scare one into eating properly, I've been losing weight and could probably soon get into them as they were originally!
