Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.

I'll see if I translated the question right grin ......it's a fallow buck, not a particularly good one, but pretty decent.

Thanks johnfox. To my cracker eye it looked to be a cross between a whitetail, an elk, a small moose, and a Bambi fawn!

This is my custom 7x57 based on a M98 Mauser action. Its has an English walnut stock, inletted swivels, the skeleton grip cap and butt plate are made of cape buffalo horn. You can see it has a nice checkered bolt knob, case hardened floor plate, custom bolt shroud, ebony fore-end tip, and an inletted shield (currently without initials . . . I'm trying to decide). The trim barrel is a custom Shilen. AS you can see it is currently wearing Buehler bases and rings, though I have several options. It is hand checkered and wears a hand rubbed oil finish. It is fitted with a Timney trigger with customized thumb lever. The barrel length is 22" and the rifle weighs approximately 6.8 lbs. as shown with scope mounts...Rifle was made by Tom Ward of Ogden, Utah quite a few years ago. I consider it one of the top three finest rifles in my safe.

7x57 on the right. Began life as Oberndorf M98; Roger Biesen did the rest. Pooch likes it too.
