That APR is a very nice rifle. Thanks. At first I didn't know what type of stock material it was, but I talked with BobinNH and he believes it is Rutland Claro...................................

My first deer rifle, a model 94 trapper I found under the Christmas tree when I was 14. My dad wasn't a hunter, and cared little about guns, but somehow he knew exactly what I lusted for. I hunted with that rifle exclusively until I was about 22. I took three of my first five bucks with it. It doesn't see much use anymore, but I try to take it out every season for a hunt or two. Lots of memories in that steel and walnut.

That APR is a very nice rifle. Thanks. At first I didn't know what type of stock material it was, but I talked with BobinNH and he believes it is Rutland Claro................................... Hardeehaha.... I concur......it only grew on one tree I know about....  Glacier John: Love that rifle! And yes I do think it's a Monte Kennedy......so does RinB. Kennedy stocked for Apex IIRC....
The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.

This one here is the favorite. Seldom seen a safe, dates to 1910, 30WCF. My paternal grandfather bought up a bunch of Winchesters in the 60-70s and something strange luckily came over my stubborn old man and he passed this along to me this past summer rekindling my passion for rifles, and carbines. I have messed around and made a light load and got it right on at 100yards. Like to take along to the range and fling some lead and catch the shells if I remember to tilt it away so they don't fly up in my face! Several more rifles have made it home with me in the past few months and a few have gone out to those around the Campfire, but this one's the favorite. Grandpa was born in 1910; he dragged my first buck off the mountain for me when he was 70. OT

Easy one the Savage 99 300 savage my Uncle left to me when he pasted. 24" barrel and a forearm with a schnoble tip.
I have used it back in PA for a couple of whitetails, I wouls use it out here if I could get it to shoot Barnes TSX better.

I have a lot of trouble with the concept of favorite rifle; it might be the last one I built, or the next one... This was a hard one for me.
