I have looked at Kaibabs and they do not quite adjust narrow enough for me to use. Do the Minox 15x56 adjust narrower than the Kaibabs? Interpupillary adjustment is not listed on the Minox website.

edited to say I have sent several emails to Minox asking for the interpupillary adjustment and have received no reply.

You might also consider the Vortex Viper 15x50s for this reason. Closeouts of regular, or new HD glass depending on your budget. They feel more like regular bino's.

I wasn't impressed with the Vortex 15x50

I'm not really interested in the 50mm stuff. I know some 56mm fit me. The Zeiss do, but they dont make a 15x56.

I couldn't find specs on the 15x56, but I found 60-76mm for the 13x56. Same as the Kaibab. I think I'm in the same boat.

Having used both Minox big eyes and Vortex big eyes I'll say this.
The Vortex are better than the Minox but not by much. I love my 13x56 Minox and swear by them, but the Vortex having used them in the field this whole year proved to be a little better. I have not used the 15x56 Minox so I can't comment. I can only speak for the 13x56 and the 15x58 Minox.
That being said, if I was on a budget or wanted to save a few pennies, I would not hesitate to give the 15x56 Minox a try because if they are as good or better than the 13's, then you can save a few bucks.
Vortex are better but at Dougs prices the Minox might be the better buy.

Also the Minox (atleast the old ones) closed more than other optics. So Minox might be more user friendly.

If the Kaibabs don't adjust close enough for you, then look at either the Leica Duovids or something porro prism. The Kaibabs are the closest adjusting of all the roof prism big eyes.

The new 12x50 Swaro ELs are fantastic and likely priced accordingly.

Actually, the Swarovski 15X56 binocular closes dowm 1 mm ( in IPD )more than the Vortex Kaibab 15X56 binocular. If you push in the Kaibab's ocular pieces to position them for eyeglass wear, you can then mount the bino on a tripod and sit behind them and "use" them. You will have to play a bit with eye-relief to get the view and focus you want.

It sure would be nice if the Kaibab's would just close down an additional 1 mm.
