Aquired a very nice muzzle loader side by side with the name Devisme engraved on it. It is completely engraved on every bit of the metal work with what looks like a coat of arms on the comb. Never heard the name Devisme before. Anyone know anything about these guns?

but the nice thing about the campfire is that occasionally you can cut through the google maze and find out some very intersting core information right here on this list. Maybe not in this case.
I have never heard the name DEVISME before running into ownership of this gun. Since, I have become aware of a little bit of the history of the makers of these fine firearms. Just thought there would be someone who had experience.
