It's not. I've been a fan for about 20-25 years now. Some would say too much of one. I would say I could probably afford to get season tix, but I won't until 3 things happen, the stadium situation is figured out, if they're leaving or not, and field a consistant fricking team. I'm not saying to the SB every year, most teams have a bad couple years, but come on...35 years?

You have a right to whine. We went 16 years between SB apperences and 26 years between winning one.

I made the chili last Friday it is very good.

I found a job opening only 40 miles or so from where I am, its a decent job, full time with benefits. not exactly where I want to live, I'm not a fan of the cold and snow for most of the year. but starting out I can't be too picky I guess. application deadline is the 31st

My BIL lives in Cranberry, just West of the burgh. He's been a Steeler fan for the last 9 years, but is originally from WI. He and his dad were at the Ice Bowl. Wonder who he's cheering for. I'll have to give him a call.

I think I'll be out there running the tucker pulling houses on the lake some on Saturday. And I might have a group of friends and fam coming up to fish this weekend too.

Jeremy finally got the fish house off the lake lastnight. He put it out just before he went to West Yellowstone right before New Years. With all the snow we got when he was gone, it flooded real bad. He raised it like 8 inches when he got back. He had to torch the axle because it was froze in. He said he would have sold it for $100 lastnight if someone would have wanted it.

Hi Tom,About three weeks ago we had an unusual 7 to 8 inches of snow.That is kinda unprecedented here.Usually we will get three to four inches and it is gone within two days.The recent snowfall we had shut EVERYTHING down here for three or four days and the schools were closed for a week.We have NO snow handling equipment save sand spreading attachments for dept. of transportation dump trucks.
I stayed home for five days.Really didn't bother me since I'm retired.
I am pulling for the Steelers.Ought to be a good game.

sounds like you got a dose of what we've had up here, it snowed every day of the week and the average temp for the month has been in the negative teens at best, yuck!

when are you gonna make a trip up stan and do some ice fishing?
