I was wondering if anybody had a source for some .32 long or .32 H&R brass with the silver (nickle?) plating on it.

I'm wanting to load up some light hardcast loads for using as a finisher on fox, coyotes, coon and the like while hunting with a shotgun or centerfire and I'd like to be able to distinguish between the loads when in the gun. 5 standard loads and a light load in chamber #6. Can't recall ever seeing plated .32 brass.

Ideas?

You made me look! laugh

I have only brass cases for .32 S & W, .32 Long and .32 H & R. That seems funny, 'cause I thought I had seen some Nickle cases at one time among my ammo/empties. I also checked some near-antique loaded rounds and they are all brass. Found some old brass balloon-head cases for black powder loading! I'm puzzled, since I think nickle-plated cases were made for the .32 Long por the H & R and I thought I might have enough to share 20 or 25 empties.

Good luck on your quest.

If you have lots of time to waight you can order them through midway.com I have been looking for them for a friend the 32H & R that is and midway has them on back order. Get your name on the list and when they get them and your name comes up they will notify you but you will be in for a waight.

I orders some 380acp and it took 6 months.

Good luck with the hunt

30 years ago I got my first .32 s&w long handgun. The first loaded ammo I bought was ACE brand and it was made in Mexico or Brazil I don'remember for sure but is was nickle. I still have it and it still works.

Thanks for looking guys and for the info. Still hoping to run accros some nickle brass but considering I've never even seen used .32 brass for sale locally sounds like I might be in for a wait. I'll check midway.

Maybe I'll just break out some of the wifes hot pink nail polish to mark my loads laugh

I want to say the only nickel I've seen was on the way pricey Federal carry ammo.

I got a couple hundred pieces of Brass to load practice ammo for a friend.
