I will be in south central Texas, hunting exotics, while my brother and one of my grandsons try to whoop up on does and management bucks. With any luck, there will be venison in the freezers.

I hunted exotics in Texas once, but all I could find was big-haired blondes...

Thanks for starting this thread, I was trying to figure out how to do it and not become the brunt of so many bashing Campfire members. A couple years ago, I was to give the Cottontail Rabbit report to "The Captain" on the "Montana Outdoor Radio Show". I was traveling to Arizona at the time when I made the call. They welcomed me on the show and then asked "Who is your pick for this Sunday"?

I didn't know that the Suprebore was even being played that Sunday, let alone who was playing. I'm sure there were plenty of outdoor guys listening in unbelief, but I don't watch football, or any other sport for that matter and I like it that way.

Now I've said it, let the crap fly, but I feel better now...

I respect the fact that many Americans absolutely love to eat, breathe, and watch sports --- but I could care less about them sick. You're not alone, Shrapnel. smile

My sediments exactly. I was once in a supermarket the day before the superbowl with several guys behind me with carts full of game day party supplies. The checker asked me who I liked in the superbowl. I replied that I spent all day watching drug addicts and wife beaters and I certainly wasn't going to go home and watch them on TV. I thought I would get lynched before I could get out of there. Apparently there are some who take their football somewhat seriously.

I won't be except for maybe the commercials. Used to be a HUGE football fan, Roger Staubach, Dick Butkus, Bob Lilly, etc were my heroes. I just don't care for the people that play today in general, replete with all those dumbass antics they pull every time somebody makes a play they're supposed to make anyway. I just couldn't see the likes of Lombardi, Landry, Knoll, etc allowing some of these hair styles and stunts they pull nowadays. Don't even watch college ball anymore either. Oh and I forgot all the affirmative action female announcers with NO CLUE explaining football strategy. Can't stand any of it really. jorge

I hear ya on that celebration after a tackle...that's always bugged me...could you imagine how Landry would have handled that B.S on his team? A foot up the a$$ and BENCHED!~
