Haven't even had this rifle back from Hart long enough to get it to the range more than once. I have another .280AI in the works so thought I'd see if I could move this one to make room. Brand new Model 700 BDL SS donor action - blueprinted by Hart - action squared, bolt lugs lapped. 25 inch Hart # 5 helically fluted barrel with VAIS muzzle brake. 1 in 10 twist. Jewell trigger (I have a brand new Remington x-mark trigger that I'd be willing to swap in and shave $200 off the price). Currently wearing regular Remington bdl bottom metal, but I'm willing to swap in PT&G aluminum bottom metal. Pillar bedded (really nice bedding job!) by Hart. Remington 700 LSS stock. I've only had this to the range one time. I tried RL22 and 140 and 160 grain accubonds and all 6 three shot groups were under .5" at 100 yards. It's very likely a one holer with some load development. 18 total rounds fired through this gun. Bolt has been fluted by Karl at Kampfeld, flutes painted with cerakote and bolt handle webbed. I have over $2400 invested as it sits and will sell for $1850, including shipping. $1650 with Remington trigger. Scope not included, but will leave Leupold rings and bases on. Weighs 8 lbs. 13 oz. without scope, 9 lbs 11 oz. with Swaro AV 4-12x50.

You asked for it Tony and here it is. That is a fine rifle at a price that is a deal. You should jump on it you won't see a deal on a rifle like this again anytime soon. 163bc

Thanks, everyone for the kind words. I really hate to let a pretty sub .5 inch gun go, but I literally need the room in the safe! If Karl's bolt fluting and Jewell triggers didn't exist, I'd save $450 a rifle easy....it's a sickness.

Had to remove a rifle from the safe to make room for a 7mm-08 XCR huh?

And the .280 AI that Redneck put together for me, and the 6mm/.223 Pacnor is building right now, and the .240 Weatherby Kirby Allen is finishing for me right now and the 700 XCR in 7mm-08 I managed to end up with last week ...I got it bad.
