Will be easy to recognize your firearms, so if we cross paths I'll be sure to say hi. Good chance we will be able to share shells if one of us are running short.

Doubt if you will meet the white Springer, but the black English Cocker may come bouncing by. Addition: Your blog is very well done. Excellent work.

battue Your springer pic brought back memories. I hunted with springers for alot of years until my legs told me I was getting too old to keep up with them . so I switched to Ryman-type setters. Here's a pic pushing 20 years old of one of my springers Dolly gone but never forgotten.

Had a great one. Abby here gave me 14years of good and I would love to be able to have another 14, but it can't be. She needs her rest these days. To all fire members, I apologize for the topic hijack. In her prime:

Winchester Super-X Model 1 OldForester: About as nice SuperX Model1 as I have ever seen. Perhaps the most unheralded and maybe best auto ever made.

Thanks! It's a nice gun, but I prefer stuff with 2 barrels, easier to clean and grab hulls from.
BTW, nice lookin' dogs guys!

Whitebird, that is one fantastic A-5 - how about a shot of the forearm?
