+1 I'm still wearing the gold and stainless Rolex I bought in the Subic Bay Navy Exchange forty-two years ago. It doesn't keep time like a $60 quartz Timex but it's been through hell and high-water with me. The kids are fascinated by a watch that doesn't use batteries....

I originally sent my 1975 vintage Seiko 8105 to Seiko of America for repair and refurbishment. They did a good job except they sent it back without a new crown gasket so it wasn't waterproof. They said they didn't have crown gaskets for such an old watch.

That's when I joined the Seiko Diver forum and found out about Industrial Watch Works. Jack had all the old parts in stock and made my watch as good as new with new crown gasket, new crystal, new face and lume job.
