I've been using EOTEchs the last 7 years or so but got a deal on an Aimpoint recently. Will the standard Aimpoint flip covers work with the ARD installed. Been a few years since I owned one and dont remember using the ARD on mine.

I just bought 3 M2's with the ARD. The caps and the ARD are integral. The whole piece slips over the objective lens. When you pop the lenscap it flips up and you can look thru the ARD. If you desire to look thru the scope without the ARD feature, the ARD flips up out of the way the same as the lenscap does. The Cap and ARD are hinged onto the housing that slip onto the objective lens. GUNS OUT

On aimpoints with flip-up covers the above is correct. For those with the older style bikini covers I am not positive but I don't think they do.

I know that the standard 30mm sights have a screw in ARD that can be used with flip covers.

I have a couple of Comp M2's (the military M68), and they both have the bikini covers with screw in ARD's (one is for sale if anyone is interested). I absolutely LOVE them.

I also have a pair of Comp M2's and guess I need to source some ard's. I stand corrected.

Thats what I have as well, not really worried about the bikini cover, was curious as the the flip cover.
