Here is a ceracoated knife that I recently finished. The blade is 1084 with a slight convex edge. This treatment allows better stain and rust resistance than stainless with the ability to take a very fine edge and easily maintain it due to the high carbon no chromium steel. I will be posting it for sale in the next few days. Let me know what you think.

Nice work, very understated but with obvious quality of craftsmenship showing. PM me the price you were thinking of if you don't mind.

Just wondering how well the ceracote holds up in use. Been thinking of doing something like that, but not sure what will hold up to hard sheath and use.

Knife looks real nice.
Thanks
Tim

I have used this knife a bit, cutting up card board and chopping on wood and it held up fine. I figure if it is a using knife and even if the finish does not hold 100 percent it will still provide more protection than an uncoated blade.

I've wondered how ceracoat would hold up on a knife. Glad to see someone doing the roadwork.
Really nice work/knife too.
