I use Lil'gun in the .22 Hornet, thinking that it might work
in .357 rifle loads. Any experience out there?

I used it in an 1894CP. I don't recall the exact load, but I used it under a Lyman 358158HP bullet, and got about 1600 fps out of that combo. It shot very well and was consistent.

I'm using a max load of Lil'Gun in my .357 Winchester '94 Trapper.

170gr Speer @ 1825 fps

100 yards, 1 shot to dirty barrel, then 3 shots for group.
I never figured the first shot would be that close on target...

BGunn: is that the 17gr load listed by Hodgdon? I think I'm heading down that road too.
I've got an IMI Timberwolf and a Ruger 77/357 that I want to try this in.

I've seen one person who claims to have gone as far as 19gr under a 170. I'm a bit skeptical of those claims though.

FYI, that Speer 170 GDSP is now called Deep Curl although the part number hasn't changed (4230).
