I have just aquired a 22" stainless barrel and dies for
6mm-06 ackley 40 degree shoulder.
I know the 6-284 is 4 grains water less than the 6-06 ackley is.

I also got a 22-243 26" 14 twist to start playing with.
both of these barrels are for Savage 110.

Gotta run but can get you a fair bit of data for it. Some won't likey the 10 twist but I've had zero problemo killing game to over 600 with it.

I have a 55gr load that I use for groundhogs it would work well on other varmits
6mm-06
bullet- 55gr combined tech
powder- varget 55gr
primer- CCI-Br2
speed out of my 28in heavy is 4316fps
It is better to have it and not need it , than to
need it and not have it ( by master gunsmith & very wise friend )
