I have had both the hs is pretty robust in the wrist area along with everywhere else
The b&c is not as bad as the hs but to me neither handle as well as a mcmillan but to each is his own as I am sure some people like them

I have run 2 HS stocks, 4 B&C stocks and 2 McMillan tactical stocks.
With the two HS stocks (Remington Police and 1st Gen Sendero stocks), I could not for the life of me get comfortable with either of them. The .308 police rifle HS stock(sold it)was replaced with a B&C vertical grip stock, which was very comfortable, but the flat forend did'nt work so well in the field (still have it for BR shoots). The .308 now sits in a B&C A3 stock which I absolutely love - great stock.
My Sendero was bedded in a McM A3 until it cracked, but it is now bedded into a B&C XLR(?) stock made for remington with the rear thumb hook and aluminum bedding block - I love this stock for a field rifle and prefer it over both the HS and McM A3, and I guarantee I won't break it.
Also, I have a B&C medalist mountain rifle stock (pillars only)on my Remmie Sheep rifle, and I see no need to replace it. It fits me great and has made a couple 500 yards shots from prone off my pack. I like it alot as well.
I also run a McM A5 on the 338 lapua, and it is nice, but heavy.
I guess I am a beleiver in the B&C stocks. Seems like they had 'me' in mind when they designed them.

Ever since the Lon Horiuchi scandal I will not use HS stocks in my shop at all!

How so ? To add a couple of points: With both the HS stocks I have had, the aluminum bedding block was out of alignment with the barrel channel, resulting in "canting" the barrel to one side. For both I needed to grind the AL block inletting and bed the barreled action to properly center the action and barrel in the stocks. And the recoil pad fell off my Police stock when I took the rifle out of the box. QC at HS is garbage, at least it was.... As far as ergonomics, well, see my post above based on having shot a few of each. I have never had any such issues with B&C. Again, just my experience.

the B&C medalist titanium( I & II) are quite nice..the best of B & C

The TI stock is best thing B&C makes IMO.

Swamp, where you been? Let me summarize for you.
Having been reminded of the Lou Horiuchi fiasco at HS, that does it for me with them. Glad I never bought an HS product, now I for sure never will. I had heard that earlier, just needed to be reminded.
McM is probably too rich for your blood.
B&C ADL, Ti seems to be the consensus way to go. And, yes,
ADL does save weight over BDL.
Not really that hard...
