Just thought I'd relay a pleasent experience, just completed with RCBS. I bought a used set of their dies from a gent, in 375 WBY that would not make concentric ammo. The sizer die would produce a straight cartridge, if the expander button was left off. I tried polishing the button and adjusting the stem with no luck.

RCBS said to return them along with 5 fired cartridges and a couple sample bullets.

I did this, but have to admit these dies were originally purchased in 1958, but were last used in 1960. They were used little, and it showed by their appearance.

I expected RCBS to replace the decap/expander rod and invoice me for the repair. If they were not repairable, I thought the sizer could be used sans the expander button, and the necks expanded with a Lyman M die.
It adds an extra step, but heard this method produces staight ammo.

To my surprize, RCBS returned a new set of dies postage paid. On the case label it reads "custom as per cases" along with a note saying the dies were within .001" concentricy. Not bad considering the necks were not turned.

It's nice to see big companies that have not forgotten it is the little guy, that made them big and keep them there. Now if they would produce a collet neck sizer, they just might gain back some ground lost to their competition.

(This is a totally opposite experience just had with Bushnell. No longer will I buy any of their product, and if any of their junk presently owned breaks down, it will go in the garbage can where it belongs, cause their warranty, at least in my experience, does not exist.)

Yes they do have great customer service. A few years back I wanted to upgrade my case trimmer with the newer case holder. I had the old collet style and it would not hold a consistant length cut for me. I called RCBS to ask if the new system would fit my old trimmer. To make a long story short they asked me to send them my old trimmer and a few days latter I got a brand new trimmer in the mail. I like RCBS products and service. But I still prefer Redding rifle dies.

I agree. RCBS has great customer service. I wrecked the sizing ball on a single set of dies twice, that's right, twice, and they gladly sent me new ones each time, no questions asked for no charge.

That's why I have used them for over 30 years. There are better dies fo bench rest shooters, these have always fit the bill for my type of shoting

Yep, that's why I bought the Rock Chucker. A friend of mine has used his 20+ years. It finally got all loose and sprung, and long story short - RCBS refitted all the worn parts for free. How can you not support a company who does that?
