Wow thats a lot of damage. While I was looking, if thats a water heater in the garage its dangerous as all get out. Its a bomb waiting to go off if hit by the vehicle. I don't recall the TNT equivalent but its high. I'd have them put some protection around it if it is how it appears.
Good luck on the repairs. Looks like the house was built with standing a hurricane in mind.

The water heater is electric, no bomb there. The water damage is what got us, mold ans soggy drywall. It is being stripped to the block walls and then once roofed over again all new interior. I still would not be started if I didn't get a construction loan, ALLSTATE IS STILL DRAGGING THEIR FEET!

MAN! My heart goes out to you. I have been working on a rehab of an old old beat up house and I would have been better off bulldozing it instead of rebuilding the whole darn thing inside out. I done did it all myself and I been a slave to that thing for over 3 years. ARGGGG!
Good on you, my cousin up near Orlando is still waiting also. It is all screwed up and hurricane season is near about upon us again.

AllState..... ticks me off just thinking about insurance companies, allstate in particular. I carried auto and homeowners with them for 23 years, got a notice in the mail saying they were cancelling my auto policy because "statiscally, you're overdue for a major claim....", this after all those years with no claims what-so-ever, and not even so much as a speeding ticket on my driving record. Needless to say, my coverage was switched pronto, before they cancelled, and I would up with better coverage, at about half the price. I wouldn't insure a pile of mule poop with allstate......
Most of my money i spent on women and whiskey. The rest of it, I just wasted!

We were going the bulldoze, but Allstate said they wouldn't pay in that case! Now we are doing the refurb thing and they are still wanting to NEGOTIATE the the policy, azzholes are GONNA PAY if I have to sue them. I paid on REPLACEMENT VALUE coverage plus a "Laws and Ordnances" clause for 30+ years and they are pulling this sheite. I will have a new company for ALL my insurance once this is over!

I'm in the process of planning to have a wood stove installed in our home. The woman I spoke with at the woodstoves store specifically said that Allstate home insurance will not cover you if you have a wood stove.

All I can say is, get a lawyer now. The only thing that will encorouge them to stop dragging there feet is a someone putting their feet to the fire. There is a time for the legal beagles, and this is one of them.
