Not a bad choice. Traipsing about the Aussie top end on horseback mostly. Droving, station manager, prospecting, horse racing, drinking, professional hunting, horse breaking, living off the land..... That was all before he packed up and shipped off to try his hand in Papua New Guinea!!!

Jeremiah Johnson, even though fictional,I would loved to have lived during that period and experienced all those adventures.

Winston Churchill....he did it all, and usually had a good cigar in his mouth while doing it.

Jeremiah Johnson was the movie name for a real man. John 'Liver Eatin' Johnson. His life is told in the book 'Crow Killer' you can get it from Amazon.
The stuff in the movie was toned down from what Johnson really did. He was an incredably BAD ASS. I can't beleve anyone would what to have lived his life. Do you really want to find your wife and baby butchered and wind up eating biscuts and Indian liver? Spend 20 years waging war on the Crow Nation from Canada to Mexico? Prolly not.
Thor never had to do any of that.

A few come to mind.
Marcus Aurelius - emperor at the height of Imperial Rome's power and an all around cool guy
Any of eleven of Jesus' disciples - just not Judas. Yeah, I know, they mostly came to bad and painful ends but it would be worth it to see and hear things first hand.
Chuck Yeager - WWII ace, broke the sound barrier, another all around neat guy.
Thomas Jefferson - too many reasons to list.
Most any Sioux warrior in the late 1700's - early 1800's when the horse culture was at its height and the white man was just a rumor.
Lao Tse, supposedly the author of the Tao te Ching.
Pericles - Grecian counterpart to Marcus in Greece's golden age.
Me - if I could start over on a particular night in Sept. 1970 and go from there.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Hey tex, hows the ankle doing? Any better? Well earlier the doc asked how bad the pain was on a scale of one to ten and I said 'seven'. It's maybe 6.5 at the moment. Thanks for asking. To further the thread-jack... Is "ten" options for the amount of pain you're in not give you enough choices; such that you have to add the ".5" to "6". As one that is "in the biz". Nothing annoys me more when asking pain level than "X.5/10" Really? Wait I take that back, someone saying "12/10" as their pain level, that annoys me more.

I would be me. I am a legend in my own mind. Heck, I have messed up my own life well enough I don't need to mess up someone who if famous.

Know fat, know flavor. No fat, no flavor.
I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.

That is actually funny, Chuck Norris wants to be me! Now I actualy thought of being John C. Holmes,(Johnny Wadd) cause he got lots of women, but I don't think I would like having a smaller "wang"

There would only be the United States of Earth. NAH! There would be the Kingdom of "Canada" and we would allow a USA area for the rest of you.

Teddy Roosevelt for me.
Go to Harvard for a year, fight in a war and survive, win a Nobel Peace price, become President of the US, kill a lot of stuff with cool rifles. Have you read "River of Doubt?" I was going to say Roosevelt too, but...he had a LOT of heartache in his life. He was a cool dude though.
