1930s vintage laboratory cases found me and the lass, and finally we have licked a very serious conundrum: finding a proper place to proudly display my beloved little flock of wildfowl, and assorted treasures. After I got some things set straight regarding not mixing and matching divers, sea ducks and puddlers (I know, it's criminal, but I love her), she went to work. More flavors added after this stage, but I think it's a fine start. Thoughts, ideas? We know the lighting as is does not flatter, and will remedy that, but am pleased as hell to have had the case find me. ![[Linked Image]](http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n29/birddown/case006.jpg)

CY, I agree.
OKOK, yes, and yes. It the cases were a 1/4" larger in any measurement, it would've been a shyt show getting them in our place. As they're so large, they wouldn't have been able to get in via stairs. Next step, pulleys/come-alongs/rigging in the foyer, which is ~55'.
MM, 15'+ at the apex, I want to say.

Clearly not. But I cut myself some slack, as after two weeks of her being 'my girl' at age 12, in Tokyo, I was kicked to the curb and had my tender heart crushed by the little hussy. 22 years later, I found her again. Oh man, that looks awesome. I always loved the wildlife exhibits at our two local colleges. One has a bunch of display cases (like yours) full of every kind of bird you can think of, the other has an assortment of North American and African big game mounts.

The loft only has ~1200' sq. That new piece is 6.5' tall, 12' wide and 3' deep. We have about 40 large pieces of furniture, so if a new one comes in, something else has to move. Alternately, it's an exact replica of a Salem witch type dunking chair.

Nice duck display, but I think I speak for the rest of the fire when I say we want more pictures of the GIRL!  Seriously, really nice display and collection, looks for wat we can see like a fine lookin lady so congrats both way. To the young lady we offer our deepest condolences.
