Airi's cousins were located, and all are safe. One, who is active duty in the JSDF (engineering) runs heavy equiptment, and is waiting for orders to be sent the relief efforts where they are deemed most needed. Thank Heaven to Mergatroid for the small favors. The not knowing is the worst.
Thank you to all who expressed kind concern and compassion for those missing.

There was the same good news here. A teacher was located in a shelter. Without electricity or phones.
A cell phone call finally set her parents and family at ease.
