Have a Sauer 202 for sale. Bought this one brand new a few years back and really don't use it. It's a 202 lightweight with the built in Weaver bases chambered in 243 with the fluted barrel and llaflon coating on the barrel and action. It has the nice looking black stock that has a couple handling marks on it but otherwise it's awful close to new. I've shot probably about 3 boxes of various 243 factory loads through it looking for the 'right one'. It appears to like the 55 gr Winchester ballistic tip and the Hornady 58 grain the best. Shoots both into under an inch at 100 yards. I've gotten a few 1/2" groups but most are in the 1/2-3/4 range. I think once it's shot in it'll be a consistent 1/2" gun with factory ammo. It's never been hunted with and spent the last however many years in the safe looking pretty.
It comes with the factory box and all the tools as well as any other papers, etc., that came with it.
These are no longer built and really offered some things far better than the new ones offer. They are also just over 6#, my 270 weighs 7.58# with rings and a Z6 swarovski. Asking $1800 and that includes shipping in the USA.
Will get some pics taken hopefully tomorrow..

Got the rifle out today to take some pics. Don't see any marks on it anywhere. It has a Swarovski 6-18x50 AV scope with the TDS reticle mounted on it in Burris rings. Neither the scope nor the rings are for sale. The rifle comes with the box and factory take down tools. Scope and rings are not for sale. Will consider trading for a 2-12x50 or bigger Swarovski or Zeiss Illuminated reticle scope.

Got the rifle out this morning to look it over and decided to raise the price to something respectable or I'll just keep it. The new Outbacks are $3498 and aren't as nice as the old ones. So if somebody decides they want this one it's $2700. Simple as that. I worked myself out of my cash flow situation and have some other items that I'll be putting up to free up $$ in case something else comes along that 'I think I need'.

So let me understand this thread as I was going to contact you at $1600. You now raised the price 1100 more on the rifle to $2700. What is your motive and are you interested in selling it for what you listed it for?

He was a motivated seller when he first posted it and now he's not motivated. Simple as that the way I read it.
Beautiful rifle either way.

Sir you are exactly right. However since he did make this post and contact me today if he wants it at that $1600 price I would do it. After that though I'll probably keep it. My immediate needs have been taken care of and now it's back to life as usual... Thanks btw for helping out!

WHOA the OutBacks are HIGH $$$$$ Yes sir and the old 202s are drying up quickly. Only other one I know of in a 243 is well over $2,000 also. Kind of figure if people want a lightweight they better jump on them. BTW you want 'high' try the take down model at $8000....
