Fired up the cooker/smoker today. Cooking a bunch of different sausage and some pork ribs. Good old white poplar sticks & chips, plus some crabapple sticks for smoke. Sprinkled some Greek seasoning on the ribs and smeared everything with basic el cheapo BBQ sauce. Mmmmmm! [Linked Image]

Yes. I live at Grenfell, which is 60 miles west of the Manitoba border and 115 miles north of the North Dakota border. However, the pics were taken at my wife's cabin at Dillon, SK, which is on the west side of the province, not too far from the Primrose Bombing Range in northern Alberta.

The ribs and sausage were good, by the way!

Nice!

You cut up the ribs at the cook start?

Those fatties look like they'd make awesome deep fried corn dogs! With some spicy vinegar- mustard.

kjohn Know the range well have done weapons training on it and was stationed at cold lake twice. Next time let me know in advance and I will try to come and help you with all of those
"goodies". PS The fishing for jack fish right after the ice has gone out was great and they are good eating at that time of the year. Cheers NC
