My Mom passed away this week, in Phoenix, AZ.
I was able to get there for a couple of days, while she could talk. We reminisced about the happier days growing up on the farm, and were able to say our goodbyes- she knew it was near the end. She slipped into her final sleep on this earth, and passed away some hours later.
She leaves a hole in my heart that I never anticipated. There is a special place in Heaven for mothers like mine. My condolences.

Sorry for your loss, I have been through the loss of a parent recently, myself. It is not easy for those left behind, but it's good you were able to say your final goodbyes. May she rest in peace, and may your family celebrate her life.
