Got a call from Tom Miller, my gunsmith here in Miami Florida, and he told me to bring him the scope and rings that I want mounted on a rifle he built for me. A Turkish Mauser action with a 26" Pac Noor stainless barrel, Timney trigger, in .308 win. Can't wait to shoot it.
Tom built for me a Ruger M77 MKII 300 win mag, with a 26" Lilja stainless fluted barrel that is a tack driver. I expect this to shoot as well!
Next is a .223 Remington 788 that Im going to have re-barreled.
Life is good!

Congrats, now you just need a place to shoot it in Dade county.

slg888, I go to Trail Glades Range! It's about the only place you can shoot rifles in Dade County. It closed for renovations for about 6-7 months and there was no wheres else you could go to shoot rifles . The closest was Markham Park in Ft. Lauderdale. Now the Dade County range is finally open and it's open 5 days a week, and Thursday & Fridays it's open until 8:30p.m. I used to shoot every Friday night. Now the wife likes to go out on Friday nights so I'm shooting Thursday nights!
