Looking for a usable stock to put on a New Haven Classic and ran across many that are semi inletted and made for Pre-64's. I don't suppose the 2 different models interchange do they? Rifles chamberd in .300WM with the boss if that helps at all.

Pre and post '64s won't interchange.
Have you checked CDNN Sports?
Winchester rifles and Swarovski scopes.

There is/was a wood L/A Sporter in the classifieds. I may have a factory (aka tupperware) L/A M70 from a 7mm Mag if interested.
I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.

CDNN had a ton of stocks for the New Haven guns, looks like they bought out the remaining inventory. Some were blemishes, some lacked checkering, some were full blown ready to go.

Real quick, thanks for helping with my dumb question. The stock I was looking at was unfinished and had slight blems. Work done was for a Pre-64. Price was dirt cheap at $40.
Thanks for the help but I've got to table this project for a while. Just got home from E.R. as my father is there with stroke type sypmtoms.
Thanks for the help nonetheless.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
