The other night my Grandson's were watching the DVD of Bambi. (somebody had given it to my daughter in-law) Well anyway when it came to the part where the hunters come into the woods and shoot Bambis' mother the oldest who is 4 turned to my son and said "I think they shot her". My son said "yes they did" and then reminded him of how we hunt and how we eat the venison.
My grandson just said "Guess she didn't run fast enough!" and went back to watching the movie totally unaffected by it all.
He might just make a hunter!!!!

Thats awesome keep up the good work of teaching loss kids how it really is.

my 1 year old lil cousin will stand up in front of the TV when the outdoor channel is on and with her finger as a gun will shoot at every single buck or bull or pretty much every animal the comes on the screen. Of course when she was 4 weeks old she was in elk camp so it isnt much of a surprise.
