A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

I would not choose anything tighter than MOD Choke! I myself use a 590 Mossberg Pump in 12ga. and use the Open Cly. shooting #2 & #4 buck.

I would imagine that the #2 'Heavy Shot' would work fine. I live in an area where the coyote population is out of control, and I shoot them quite often with a 12 gauge using reqular #2 lead shot (lead shot is still legal around here). The shotgun I use the most has a full choke, and the #2 lead shot is deadly on coyotes out to 50 yards. I also use my 590A1 that has a cylinder bore and it seems to work just as well.
