This stock is black with spruce green webbing(please excuse my poor pictures and the glare from the flash but I'm not much of a photographer). It has the double palm swell and an extra swivel stud on the forearm for using with a bipod. It has been used on a .223 but is in good to very good condition it has been bedded. It looks very similar to the stocks on the 5R rifles. $235.00 $225.00 shipped. Here is a link to their website http://www.hsprecision.com/shop/psv096.html

It's for a Remington factory heavy barrel contour. It should accommodate all the factory varmint/sendero/tactical barrel contours. If you will notice in the photos, it does not have the pressure points in the end of the barrel channel.

How do you think a 700 VLS barreled action would work in the bedding and barrel channel???

Well, it should work fine and will look like this if it is stainless as according to Remington, this action started as a stainless VLS. Someone moved it to the Remington/H&S stock later.

Would you expect a non-stainless barreled action to fit differently than a stainless one???
