rare variation of the 3rd generation gun. This example is in excellent condition. It has been fired a few times at the range with factory loads, so you shoot it without guilt never holstered. I do have the original box, but it is in poor condition with the end flap torn off. Sell price $1000 + $30 shipping, which is very reasonable compared to the two that are on Gunbroker. I do not have an FFL so if your dealer wants it to ship from my FFL any fees charged are extra. I'm in no hurry to sell. I would be interested in trading for interesting 1911's, new or old, Model 70's, Ruger #1's, or other interesting single shot rifles.

I have a Ruger 1B 30-06 listed here and on GB if you're interested. Thanks, John

Can you please advise what diameter the cylinder throats are and what the barrel to cylinder gap measures as well.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.

That's exactly what I am looking for, but I have to sell a gun first. Unfortunately this will be gone before then.

PM's answered. I have a Liberty #1B in .30-06, so no real interest there. A .270 Weatherby is probably what I'll buy next in a #1, but a flat shooting caliber with nice wood is interesting. Oh okay, I'm a wood slut, I'll admit. If it's a #1 with nice wood, send me a picture and I'll try to figure out what I can shoot with it. A .429 bullet has a slight play in it in the chamber mouths. A .4325 lead round ball does not enter any of the chamber mouths. I am not inclined to beat slugs through the barrel, to see what what it slugs, but I expect it is a reasonable dimension for the caliber. 1911's? Colts and Les Baers are probably my favorites. .38 Supers, 10mm's, and Commanders would also be useful. And I should have added quasi-legalese in the first post, first public "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it. If you offer a trade then I reserve the right to consider the best one offered and verify the condition. Thanks!

You'd work out an inspection period and buy the gun. Dumbass.

Bricktop, thank you for...policing this thread, however Tony did send me a picture of a very nice potential trade pistol - not exactly what I want, but a nice pistol. I have no reason to believe he is not sincere.

I have two Colt Delta Elites, 10mm, one stainless and one blued. Both pretty mint in shape, both were posted in these classifieds not too long ago. Any interest?

I did say in my original post trades were welcome, mentioned the models, and he sent me a photo of a gun in the category I mentioned.

Was there an invitation to bombard the seller with knucklehead questions, too? Can you please advise what diameter the cylinder throats are and what the barrel to cylinder gap measures as well. That's not indicative of a serious buyer. That seems to say, "I have a LOT of stupid questions I'd like to ask and I'd like to trade you my pet goats and an old rusty Chevy LUV. And BTW, can we do a FTF? Because I don't want to pay for shipping either."
