Sounds like an April Fool's Day joke!

Maybe but it seems in earnest.

Here's a link to the VihtaVuori loading manual. There's a load listed on page 28 for a .308 Win load using a 27 grain Als bullet at 3993. It's a pretty elaborate joke if it is one.

Anyone else heard of these?

I'm sure someone will come along and explain that even a jacketed styrofoam bullet can have a great BC as long as it has enough weight, friction be damned. (I've been through this with copper bullets that didn't expand at distance.)
