I hit the dogs out there last year several time. The towns were a little thin on dogs but we did get some shooting. I am always up for a dog shoot. Even have a couple of spare poodle shooters. I have a friend in Rapid who has been scouting more towns. Also do some loper hunting in that area. Really like the area.
Colorado1135 you will like it out there.

I've been out there more times than I can count visiting friends an family throughout south dakota. I don't recall ever being in hot springs specifically, but I have a few prairie dog places lined up that only get shot at a couple times a year if that. my first prairie dog I got there was with a BB gun when I was 11 if that tells you anything. and the majority we've shot with a .22lr

Congrats on the job! Tzone, bring that boat up and fish the rainy, got until the 14th. otherwise a good time for sturgeon as well. lets slime it!!

Buschy, I won't have it up by the 14th, but I plan to have it up at least once this year to fish. Depending on the vacation situation, I'd like to come up more.

How far is Mille Lacs from your door T? Thats got to be a little bit of a haul isn't it? Not really. I can be on the south end in an hour and 15 min. I used to drive out and fish Green Bay for the day, that was anywhere from 1 and half to 2 1/2 hours depending on where I went. I don't mind driving to fish as long as someone splits boat gas$ a little bit.

yeah, takin off tomorrow to find a place out there, come back here start working on my CDL and packing, next friday/saturday will be the big move. sounds like once I start I'll have a day off next june, LOL. I'm gonna have a LOT to do. but at least I'm working finally
