Good solid gun, can be taken hunting right now BUT, the wood has been 'messed with'
Buttstock was cut down, then the cut down part re-attatched. Well done for sure, but the line can be seen. Blueing is OK, locks up solid and tight, selling at a user / hunter grade price of only $195.00 shipped.

Wow.. sold before you send pics? Yep, I am not so good at posting pics, but have sold many guns here that way with great success and happy campers on both ends. I try to price them in such a way as to make it a better deal than it even seems here.

Yeah when it sounds to good to be true, you tend to ask questions! Been burned to many times on forms not to ask questions. But with 10701 posts, you'd think someone could drop an email when they say "Will do". But no biggie, congrats to Sitka Deer..

You can also search for the username and see if there are any recommendations in the "good guys list".

When Mark says it is a "good solid gun" and the stock will be replaced anyway it is a no-brainer. I will probably find a kid that needs a good project and show him how to put wood to iron.
A solid LC Smith is always worth more than a couple hundred bucks... Shipping included?!? No need to even guess...

Well, the LC arrived today and it is obviously better than described. It shows a lot of honest use and I would really love to hear some of the stories it surely has to tell... but I know it won't. A true sidelock double for far less than modern imported junk is a great deal... For anyone skeptical enough to demand photos when Mark posts, thank you very much!  And keep it up. please!!!!!!! art
