A friend has a muzzle loader rifle, with a bayonet. It is marked 1871 Harper's Ferry. there is an eagle on it, imilar to the eagle on the presidential seal. Does anyone know what this means and what kind of value is placed on it? Or, where is a good source for the correct info? Only history on the rifle is that it has been in the family for as long as my friend can remember. Thank you/
