Weather in western PA doesn't look good either.
I put out a blind this afternoon. I saw a flock of 11 in this place last week. Two were mature gobblers, two were bearded hens, and the rest were jakes and hens. I'll be taking my nephew whose father (my brother) died three years ago. I hope we can stay dry in the blind, and it's not too windy. I want him to have a good time.
I'd like to add "photos to come," but who knows what luck we'll have.

Wish I could get my daughter to go. She's 14 and not up for it. She killed her first a couple years ago but last year and this she's decided she has better things to do. I went through the same thing with her older sister. Luckily the older asked me to take her this year after 2 years of not being into it. Unfortunately she's 16 now so no youth season for her.
They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Nope I got divorced and my ex's family won't let him hunt with me....too bad for him and me also as he was a good kid
