I got this buck in a hell hole a couple of years ago. He is just under 31" wide. He has 8 scorable points on one side and three on the other. Gross 180, net 126. Yes, he has some deductions. laugh I shot him sneaking away at 50 yards with a 6.5-06 140 grain Hornady Flat base.

I shot him in the right ham/pelvic as he ran (very lethal shot I take often). Bullet destroyed the pelvic and exited out the chest...DRT! Love this bullet!

He had another monster buck with him that was nontypical as well. His snuts were the size of peas. He still has some velvet on his antlers (Middle of October). His weiner was very small too, like some of the posters here laugh

His body and neck were huge. His cape took a 29" form, which took some doing to find. He was a smidge over 300 lbs. He is the biggest bodied buck I have ever seen and he wasn't even in the rut.

Just an old bugger whose antlers petered out. I figured he was about 10 years old. Cool scars on his face though.

I've also got old pics of a palmated whitetail with 3 droptines beneath its eyegaurd, and a descent whitetail that seemed to have broken half its antler while in velvet, then it rehardened while that half was dangling down. Strange.

Awesome! I have to ask ... is the antler running over the nose attached solid to the skull?

The reason I ask is about 10 years ago I shot one that looked just like that walking under my treestand. When I got to him I found out that the antler and a section of the skull had broken free from the rest of the skull and the skin was just holding it on. Strange. I wouldn't have thought a deer could walk around with a big hole in his skull.

It was solid....."was" being the key word.

My brother in law grabbed and gave it a tug to see if it was loose or what and when he did it "popped" and was wiggly.

Thinking it had broken a few weeks before and was starting to heal and he rebroke it.

My first buck with a bow. Not really odd ball, just really ugly, but I'm proud of him. When I shot him, one side was completely busted off leaving 1 spike and a nub, and I busted off the spike dragging him out,... mad DINK Supreme, but he was good eating..!

Neat critters, guys!

This guy is a little unusual.

Several stickers/kickers - 14 points or so, I think, and his brow tines cross and G2's nearly touch.

I think this guy lost a head butting contest with a Mac truck. The skull was also deformed. There's a lot of bone missing on the left side.
I lost my own similar contest when shooting him. Are aware that a new Blizzard scope cover on the rear lens puts the scope a lot closer to your face than you're used to?

My critters are not as interesting as y'alls, but...

Forked G2 and matching little kickers off both brow tines...

Here's Droopy. We figured at some point he must peeled his velveted antler like a banana.
