First, learn to spell "A-R-C-T-I-C !!
That is usually associated with cold, but the summers and early fall are great!
Preparation:
1. Be prepared for high costs, ....aircraft are not cheap, and everything has to be moved by planes, ...likewise with hotel rooms and food. And the guides have to live and survive here.
2. get yourself some serious cold weather gear, preferably from Northern Outfitters.
3.Arrive a couple of extra days before the hunt to acclimate yourself a bit to the conditions. A "spring" hunt means you only have to be prepared for minus 35 instead of minus 50 in the winter!
4. Everything in the Arctic proceeds at a slower pace than in the south, ......accept it!!
5. Enjoy the Adventure of the trip, ....getting your trophy is the bonus!!
