Center circle is 10" diameter and outer on the #6's is 19" and the outer on the #7's is 16".

#6's = 170 - 10" and 298 - 19" - 35ish degrees

#7's = 265 - 10" and 402 - 16" - target says 401 but I missed one. smile 20" would have been over 500.

I want to do a 20" count on the 7's but I lost my big circle. frown

Mossberg 835 24" nonported
StarDot .676" choke tube

Here is a 20yd pattern with Winchester 3.5" HV lead #6's, also a 10" circle. The Win HV's will go 140-150 in the 10" at 42yds.

Thanks. Good info... On my way to Nebraska for two hunts starting Friday. I will let you know how it goes. My outfit is an SBE with an Indian Creek @ .665. I will use HS-13 3 1/2 w/ 2 1/4oz of 6's. Nuff said...

Patterned my SBE2 with a .660 rhino yesterday - magblends put 238 in 10" at 40 with nice even pattern.

I have killed three Alabama birds this spring with the HS-13 Magnum Blend 3.5 inch shell out of my SBE2 with a Rhino choke tube.

One at 25 paces,one at 43 paces,and the another at 50 paces.

The only bird that flopped was at 50,and he went nowhere.

These are really good loads in my experience.

Good info but is the center of that circle where you were aiming? That's the only thing I don't get with the 10" circle...

All you do is move your sights to the center of the 10" circle, just like zeroing a rifle.

That's OK if you have adjustable sights. I have a tru glo style front sight that has a triangular shape to it. Nice, bright and simple but not adjustable

My 835 was low right with the factory beads so I had to do something. I bought some Williams Sluggers, zeroed with dove loads at 10yds, backed up and fired my turkey loads for fine tuning. I was putting about 30 pellets @ point of aim before adding sights because my pattern was so low.

Center of my pattern is 3-4" low but I just aim for the top of the head and it's all good. I had another barrel with adjustable fiber optics on it and it was nice but the front sight broke a few times in the woods and I decided to go this route. It sucks when you set-up at daybreak and realize your front bead is gone.
