Browning 20g "made in Belgium". 68Z serial number. 2 3/4" chamber. 26" plain modified choke barrel (**). Gun shows hunting use but still retain much of the original bluing and some of the gold on the trigger.

$675 shipped to your FFL from me. I am not a dealer, so make sure your dealer will accept from me. If I have to go thru a FFL on my end, add $25 to cover his costs.

Cool gun. I have a buddy who pounded hundreds of ducks across the border in Canada with his. Hand loaded stiff lead loads back in the 70's and (IIRC) an 8 bird limit that was filled 9/10 days, all sneak shooting.

Yes, "Z" in serial number signifies Light 20.

Thank our servicemen and women for their sacrifices.
Thank John M. Browning for his firearms inventions.

Why would you say that? I'd appreciate it if you would not comment on things you do not know about. The buttstock color and condition matches the forearm and the screws don't appear to be buggered, so I would lean towards the fact that the gun is all orginal. Some older A5s had square knobs, some had round...there is no way to date an A5 by its wood.

Weight: I can't find a definitive chart on the weight, but there is some internet chatter of it being ~6 to 6.5 lbs. Since it's a "Z", that denotes "light twenty" even though it has "twenty" engraved in the side -- my research says the Belgians were only engraved as "twenty". I do have a similar Japan 20g A5 engraved with "light twenty".
