I will be going through this in a few weeks, first time for me and not my choice, but wondering if there are any do's - don't's that I need to be aware of.

Tell the truth.
Don't baffle or pizz off the arbitrator.
If you have a good case based on the facts, you don't need any tricks. If you don't, you'd be better off settling.

Were you forced into this per contract or can you request a Mediation first? If at all possible, go with a non-binding Mediation before a Binding Arbitration.

I think we do have a good case, kind of puzzled why the union has chosen to push this far.
